Good day steemians!
Japan was one of my favorite countries in the east. The place was so captivating and the people were so inspiring. Their resiliency was evident in their technology nowadays even after they have suffered a lot before.
Today I'm going to show you how to make Japanese paper dolls. I've always loved doing art and I want to share it with steemians here in this platform #steemit
These are the tools and materials you need.
I am fond of making waste into useful ones. So most of the materials needed are scrap like the old wrappers, waste cardboards and colored papers.
*First, with the used of the hard cardboard, draw the head and the body. It will be your choice what size you want.
*Next is you have to cut the body and head.
*Reserve the circles for head. Do the Kimono first using the body and start on the collar part. Cut a small piece of colored paper and wrap it around the neck.
*To add layer, cut another piece of colored paper or wrapper and the same process, wrapped it around the neck on lower part.
*After making the collar, make the other Kimono part. Use the wrapper and cut desired size of Kimono. Fold the wrapper and locate the center to insert the neck of the doll.
*Then glue the arm part of the Kimono. Cut it like on the picture.
*After cutting, fold it and cover the waist part with other color of art paper.
*When the Kimono is done, start working on the head. Cut a piece of black colored paper for the hair.
*Finally, your Japanese paper doll is done. You can add a little string on top of the head if you want your paper dolls to be hung
That's all fellow steemians.
