Hello everyone, I was just referred to Steemit by someone I knew. I am an artist based in New York. I first started my art about since I was little, I first started truly pursuing my art career about three years ago. The art I create is hard for me to explain. It is psychedelic, schizophrenic, figurative, projective, illusionary, and abstract in its own right. I create work that reflects my current as well as past endeavors. I name myself Trip because I can't help but make it some kind of pun. There are many layers and many don't really notice them from what I have specifically noticed unless they are under the influence of psychedelics.
For most of my life, my work has been my outlet. I rarely explain my digital paintings to other people because sometimes I feel It would be as long as multiple chapters in a book. Many people seem to gloss over them, so after a while I thought I would leave them blank. To see all of my work, inside it as a full concept, you would have to change your perception. You would have to change the full outlook on the things around you as well as the things within yourself to truly see all sides. That is what it is about to me. I also want to create something that is bigger than myself. Something that changes how the modern world views art, forever.
I have never fully explained my intention with my works. I simply just want to share them with other people. I want people to tell me what they see in them, I want to hear how it makes them feel. I feel lately a very small amount o people do take the time out to actually feel what they see from things. There is more to it but this is all I will write for now, I do not know what the outcome of this post will be. I am trying to get a website up, but I want to wait until I can at least afford more than one month of hosting and everything. I would love to see what you all think of my work. Here are some of my works below:
