The name of this art photograph is: 'The Storm'
This is a very dramatic photograph taken just at the perfect moment. I was casually walking down the street when the strong wind rose. Its sudden intensity inspired me to quickly find a composition that would work well. The result looks very pleasing.
The off-balance composition, together with the silhouette effect against the bright portion of the sky is what absolutely increases the dramatic effect, even though the blurred leaves carry the main part of that impression.
The pink coloured clouds, positioned right in between the dark ones and the blue sky, soften the drama but add a beautiful, yet unexpected dimension. I find it the most valuable element.
Notice how the unexpected position of bare tree branches works well in conjunction with the building in creating a scary moment.
