This was done in one sitting (hence the term alla prima) in an art class. All participants brought in random items (vases, plants, wooden toys, etc.) and it was required to incorporate select items into the piece. It was also necessary to emphasize complementary color schemes. A styrofoam waterfowl became its prehistoric ancestor and not without a proper accompanying environment: an otherworldly color horizon of warmth and toxicity striking down the land with dripping thinned paint.
