The Dallas Museum of Art set a new Guinness World Record for the largest group of people dressed as Frida Kahlo in one place. "Frida Fest" celebrated the famous artist's 110th birthday, and honored her legacy alongside the exhibition of her artwork. Participants were asked to sport a unibrow, place three artificial flowers in their hair, and wear a red or pink shawl and a flower-printed dress. Hundreds of people showed up of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and disabilities to make history and join together as Frida devotees, and I was blessed to participate. Thank you, DMA and Latino Center for Leadership Development!
