I guess that a title always affects those who look at art, giving an idea to the viewer about what the artist had in mind.
Kind of explanation for our analytical left brain while the right brain is in extasy about the colors.
In general one might say that words add value to your work but are useless if the work doesn't deserve it. No use to name your work "The Scream" if there's no emotional relation to this statement in your artwork.
Here is one of my earlier works made with digital tools in 2003. At that time I tried to get a little bit more familiar with Buddhist traditions...therefore the title "VIPASSANA" meaning insight into the true nature of reality.
