Heey there! It's almost holidays so I'm gonna wish you a nice holiday right now!
Now for me these past few days school work was quite demanding soooo I didin't have time to make any art for myself :(
So today once again I'd like to show you some of the work I do, as a graphic design student :)
Soooooo this was done using corel draw x5, quite an old program actually, it's still cool tho hahah :D
And this is actually the letter L in a fancy dandy font. And that letter L is copied and pasted and the angle of the letter is changed until it forms a nice neat circle. In this example it might be quite hard to see the L letter but in the next ones I think you will see what I'm rambling about :D
Did you saw the L letter better now? Our teacher call these ornaments "sukinukai" and I have no idea how to even translate that :D It's really fun to make these, it doesn't take much time at all, it's all just expermentation with angles and fonts and some color.
I hope you liked this! I would love to make a tutorial on how to make these, since they are so fun...but I'm certain not many people use corel draw these days....soooo it would be kind of pointless. Buuuuuut if at least one person has corel draw and doesnt know how to do this...I can teach you! hahaha :D
