I decided to transform this little table from IKEA into something more exciting! After drawing and colouring the design on a large piece of thin card, I glued it to the surface of the table top, covered it with sticky-back plastic, unscrewed the table frame and inserted the table top, and then screwed it tight again. I did the little chair too. Easy, personal, and so effective! I even included a road for all his little toy cars as they're his absolute favourite. Now he uses it to play on, and eat his dinner on too.
I love getting creative with all kinds of crafty things... I find it to be very therapeutic. Colouring has become quite a popular thing now for adults... mindful colouring they call it. I'm glad it's a 'thing' now... anything that contributes to stress reduction is a very good thing. There's waaaay too much stress I see in people's faces these days!
