EVERY STEEMIAN A PORTRAIT

This is my first entry for my project "Every steemian, a portrait. This project was inspired by Hive account@skyleap, and i decided to add a little tutorial on how i create this artwork, kudos to Hive account@ewuoso for the idea.
This is my first tutorial, though its sketchy, thanks to Hive account@steemit for this platform.

App used: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Open the image with photoshop, click on IMAGES>ADJUSTMENT>POSTERIZE

This is the simple trick i used in my cartoon drawing, its aid in tracing and drawing easily, but i will advise you to train your eyes to see where highlights and shadows are formed.

OPEN the original and posterized images with Illustrator

Place the posterized on top of the original.

Start with tracing the eyes

i love starting with the eyes, because beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, LOL... In fact, its from here that i will know if i should continue, because most of the time, if the eyes comes out bad, the rest of the image will not be fine; i might not get a good artwork.

Then draw the face, lips, nose, ears and the hair. For the face, i always start with the highlights before shadows.

Put a background , its could be any backdrop of your choice.
