I was inspired by Hive account@aaronleang and Hive account@joannewong when they posted a monthly compilation of their meetups & events. I think it would also be a good way for me to lock and seal this compilation post in the blockchain forever so I can see what I've achieved so far.

How did I started designing Steemit Profile Banners & Logos on Steemit?

When I started Steemit in September 2017, I wanted to do animation videos for Steemit. I realized that to create an animation video would take too long to produce. I wouldn't want to be posting once every two weeks now do I?

I had to figure out a way, someway that I can give back to the Steemit community as well as allow me to post more regularly. A month later, I began to try designing Steemit Profile Banners for Steemians because so far, I've never seen a proper banner on any of the Steemians I've come across. They're either stretched, half cropped or just there for the sake of filling in the slot of a profile banner.

I saw there was a niche in this

I began polishing my VERY basic design skills... Yes.. I'm not a Graphic Designer by profession. I'm a Character Animator, it is two completely different things. But I do have a little knowledge on branding and know what looks good and wat looks bad because of a few years in the advertising industry.

Though I must say, in a crowd of talented artists, I'm probably the one least talented. I'm saying this because some people are just born talented and can sketch something out of thin air. As for me, I'm the type where I have to work twice as hard to achieve something a talented artist would have already done. This initiative have come a long way and I hope that Steemians will continue to support this initiative. I know that a new season may or may not be coming out and that depends whether the community wants it to resume! All these sweet memories as I compiled all my designs for this post. There are more designs but I kinda left them in my office. Yes... I used to design them during my working hours because work back then wasn't as hectic as now.

Looking back at what I've created, I'm pretty satisfied with some of the designs that I've created but there are some that I think could be much much better. When I design these, there were definitely good days & bad days where days the ideas and inspiration just flowed and there were also days where it was just a blank canvas. My designs may not be the best you've seen, but I do enjoy the times creating them. The most important part was that my designs were able to satisfy Steemians, help promote their initiative in a more EXCLUSIVE way, and to just catch your attention.

I hope you enjoyed this compilation of my designs. I still have a few requests to fulfilled which have been delayed for AGESSSS..... I'm sorry for that as I've been pretty busy with events and work. I will try my best to get to your requests ASAP when things are more cleared.
