Yesterday I felt bad.
Sometimes, you just have a bad day. Maybe cause of some Circunstances, maybe cause of yourself. In any case, if you're an artist, the best way to release that sad energy is sleeping drawing.
Ok, sleeping helps too. That's a fact.
Like I said in my first post, I like creepy-cute things. I consider myself a creepy-cute person, who love sparkles, magic and crystals but also loves horror sketches, devilish histories and goth-grunge lifestyles. My personal style, like my art, can be a mixture of both views. So, as a personal theraphy for my sadness (and to share a bit of my art with you) I'll lend you this post, made in a chess way to make it a bit more entertaining.
The Material used to make it are pretty simple: a pen, a #2 pencil an some coloured pencils.
First thing first: The sketch. I made the sketch in a few minutes, with a bit of problems with the perspective I was working on (upview... that perspective can be a bit tricky, but there is a way to work it for each artist.)
After I where fully sure of what I wanted to picture (and letting a long ammount of lines)... It was time to use the pen. I lined everything, and even added some background with a simple technique. Lines can solve everything.
Now, with all lines made, it needed a bit of colour. In this drawing I wanted to picture the two views I have of everything, so one of the sides needed to be fully-coloured.
Tada...
