We were already rooting for a design as a winner but the banner didn't really fit the requirements, especially it being the main thumbnail image for our post. So, we had to choose another design. Here are all the entries:
The Winner
The previous design that we had is simple and minimalist but we tried to make all the elements compliment each other to produce a striking banner. We wanted it to look good as the first image on a post because it will be a main factor as people's first impression of our blog post.

His entry is creative but not too overpowered and not too complicated. It is still readable and the design is somewhat balanced with all those colors and cursive used. Thanks for joining!
