Here is a pencil sketch of a woman from the side. I like the way you can get a contrast in lighting by making the background a grey. It brings out the highlights in her face and makes her stand out more. This drawing probably took me between 30-60 minutes to do.
It was done on A5 paper using pencils such as 6B, 3B, HB and 4H.
