Cartoon Series #4: Dragon Cartoon

This is a character design sketch of the mythical dragon. The depiction of this character is very stylized depending on artist and culture. Mine is a simplistic western depiction of a dragon in a very cartoon style of drawing. The color combination is what is commonly associated with dragons, red and yellow to create a very fiery look. I added violet as to not make it look dull with two colors, and it doesn't conflict with the colors I already worked with. The cartoon style is simply my style, very thick and heavy lines, colored with a base tone then a dark tone to create shadows and caped off with a faint rim yellow lighting. It's very simple, but I hope you enjoy it.
