Back from the Bangkok blow out that almost severed my sunny disposition which you probably have all come to know for me by now. My sanity was further loosening it's already flaccid grip, and I feared if I kept traipsing around Siam I might forever have been lost.
And if I had succumbed to such a catatonic state there would be no memorial anthems such as "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" nor would a "wish you were here" be composed on behalf of my formerly functional eccentricity. My last post was a glimpse into my fragile artistic crises and I revealed just how condescending and particularly vile I can be after viewing the trending page, perusing the new posts and then comparing and contrasting my efforts versus those being auto voted to the top as well as those contented with their facsimiled content.
It wasn't my most successful post and i am fully aware such shenanigans will gain me no favour with anyone here. I'd just like to say, if I follow you and/or grace your posts with my RCs I find value in what you're doing here. And whether that's making atypical and enjoyable posts or just being a generally decent human so far as I can gather, I draw no distinctions and don't think any such participation should be more highly regarded than the other.
That being said, and back to the present offering I give you a visual that alludes to the flashbacks I'm prone to and basically have come to accept as my reality. There was a time when it concerned me that I had really cracked my egg and wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to see the world how you my dear reader likely sees it. I'm not speaking in abstractions or a philosophical context here. I mean that my visuals are set to perma-trip and i have learned how much I let that focus dominate my perception. For instance, when driving on wet roads at night under city lights I do my damnedest to filter out the fractals and pareidolia but when killing time after having had a shit load of coffee and taking a stroll in the city I will let in the psychedelic residuals..
This was the inspiration for the image that I think does only a decent job of emulating what I see when I let myself wander.. Without some better technology and gadgets I'm a bit limited but as always I try to use what I've got as creatively as possible.
All the best, please feel free to get back to you're regularly scheduled content..
