This is one of the paintings that I am really proud of and I take the opportunity of the 1st Art-Trail Contest to display it once again. I made this painting as part of a series of artworks that were exhibited in an own organized group exhibition slash Art Party, with sole purpose to raise funds for the support of the refugees fleeing from Syria to the Greek Islands.
Among other artists, in the art party participated sculptor and Steemer

The Art Party was very successful, over 400 people came for the opening night and thousands of Euros were collected to support the operations of Medicines of the World.
It is also one of the very first paintings I posted on Steemit 8 months ago, when I had just joined, but I had only a handful of followers and Steemit Friends at the time so poor thing went unnoticed;
ALTHOUGH I must refer to
who resigned from an art-challenge asking everyone to vote for this artwork even though he didn’t know me and I could not enter the challenge either as the deadline had expired. He is also entering the contest with a wonderful whale sculpture; https://steemit.com/arttrailcontest/@skapaneas/1st-art-trail-contest-sculpture-entry-by-skapaneas
