တိုေတာင္း၍ ပိုေကာင္းေသာ ဘဝဒႆနမ်ား
The shorter and better philosophies of life
လွည့္ျဖားတတ္သူေတြနဲ႔ ေကာက္က်စ္သူေတြဟာ
အျခားသူေတြရဲ႕ ဆိုးကြက္ကိုသာ ရွာေဖြေလ့ရွိၿပီး
ေကာင္းကြက္ေတြ၊ ႏွစ္သက္ဖြယ္ေတြကို မရွာေဖြပါဘူး။
ျမတ္ဗုဒၶက "ပညာရွိဆိုတာ ခ်ီးမြမ္းျခင္း ကဲ့ရဲ႕ျခင္းခံရရင္
ဘဝင္ခိုက္တာကိုေရာ စိတ္မခ်မ္းသာတာကိုပါ ထုတ္မျပဘူး၊
သူတို႔ဟာ ေလဒဏ္ေၾကာင့္မလႈပ္ရွား ခိုင္ခန္႔တဲ့ ေက်ာက္ေဆာင္လို
အေျပာင္းအလဲမရွိ ရပ္တည္တယ္" လို႔ မိန္႔ေတာ္မူပါတယ္။
စစ္ေျမျပင္က ဆင္တစ္ေကာင္ဟာ သူ႔ကို ပစ္ခတ္တဲ့ ျမားတံအားလံုးကို ႀကံ့ႀကံ့ခံသလို ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔လည္း ေစာ္ကားမႈအားလံုးကို ရဲရဲဝံ့ဝံ့ ရင္ဆိုင္ရပါမယ္။
The deluded and the wicked are prone to seek
only the ugliness in others but not the good and beautiful.
Amidst praise and blame, the Buddha says,
the wise exhibit neither elation nor depression like a solid rock
that is not shaken by the wind they stand unmoved.
just as an elephant in the battle-field endures all arrows
shot at him, even so, we must brave all insults.
ဒီကမ႓ာႀကီးထဲမွာ ဖီလာဆန္႔က်င္တဲ့ သတင္းစကားေတြ၊
မဟုတ္မဟတ္ စြပ္စြဲျပစ္တင္တာေတြ၊ သိကၡာခ်တဲ့ ေဝဖန္မႈေတြကို
အထိန္းအခ်ဳပ္မဲ့ လွ်ာေတြနဲ႔ ေျပာဆိုတာ ၾကားရႏိုင္ပါတယ္။
ျခေသၤ့လိုပဲ သူတို႔စကားေတြကို နားစြင့္မေနသင့္ပါ။
အဲဒါေတြဟာ ပစ္သူထံ ေဝ့ျပန္သြားတဲ့ လက္နက္လို
စ,လာတဲ့ေနရာမွာပဲ အဆံုးသတ္သြားပါလိမ့္မယ္။
ေခြးေတြက ေဟာင္ေပမယ့္ ယာဥ္တန္းကေတာ့
ေအးေအးခ်မ္းခ်မ္း ဆက္သြားေနတာပါပဲ။
အလုပ္လုပ္သူတိုင္း အမွားမကင္းပါဘူး။
အမွားေတြဆိုတာ အေတာ္ဆံုး ဆရာေတြျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
In this world, we may hear adverse reports,
false accusations, degrading remarks of uncurbed tongues.
Like a lion, we should not even listen to them.
Like a boomerang, they will end where they began.
Dogs bark, but the caravans peacefully move on.
'He who makes no mistakes makes nothing.
Mistakes are the best teachers.'
