"The Altar of Dualism" was commissioned by a good friend as a present for his sister. He wanted me to convey the struggle between our current situation and where we could be. Reality vs fantasy... and maybe how we could go from one to the other...
He gave me a lot of creative freedom within this project, asking me to express the concept in my own unique way, aligning it within my own personal collection of "Brain-splats" while still including some key personal elements to make this present extra special.
Submit, consume, obey... and throw our future away...
Watch the towers rise as the earth dies.
Freedom is relative.
We are what we create; aim, align and project...

Yes, hate-filled, soul-less vessels of greed exist...
But so do enlightened beings...
And occasionally some people feel the touch of god...
But ultimately everything begins and ends with the union; Mayan, Aztec, Egyptian, Atlantian and Greek all around an oriental base perched upon an uncertain platform between the industrialised and the natural. Balancing the omniversal triptych alchemy within transcendental artwork, under the space invasion. Finally, Shiva the destroyer comes forth to transform reality. All witnessed by eyes unclouded by hate. The awakened, the psychedelically initiated and the all-seeing eyes of the innocent...
How I create my work...
I use a Yiynova MVP20U graphics tablet with a macbook pro and photoshop. To make big pieces like this, I draw most parts separately, flatten the image and then bring them together in the master file, this is mainly because my computer hasn't got enough power for all the layers/effects within the master file.
If your interested in creating digital art, I couldn't recommend Yiynova enough, the quality is impeccable and it holds its ground along side Wacoms, accept for less than half the price! Plus, Yiynova's customer service is amazing!!
