Hi steemians!, this time I´d like to share with you this digital drawing of a German shepherd with a cartoon style.

I love dogs and German Shepherd is one of my favorite dog breeds, I will be uploading later drawings of other dog breeds that I like.

Materials:

Huion 1060 Pro Graphic Tablet
Clip Studio Paint EX

Drawing Process

Ok, first open a new canvas in the clip studio ex and draw a quick draft with the brush tool, it does not have to be exact, it's just to give you an idea of what the drawing will be:

Next, create a new layer on the top of the draft layer and let´s draw a more detailed sketch of our dog friend, guiding us from the draft of the previous layer, it´s very useful to open the drawing again and place it parallel but in mirror mode, so you can see your drawing from another perspective to notice the errors.

Now I create a new leyer on the top of the sketch layer to draw the final line art, adjust some lines and modify some parts:

Continue with my favorite part, the coloring :D, for this step what I usually do is create a new layer for every part of the drawing, for example a new layer for all the brown parts, another leyer for the black parts, other for the background, etc. it is easier to modify the color of the drawing and to erase without damaging what is in the other layers.

To give the appearance of fur I made several consecutive strokes to give that appearance, took some time but I liked the final result:

And to finish I add a simple background just to highlight more our model:
