Do it for you
I have always been kind to people who know me and just overall i am a parson who if can would like to help. Being an artist and being able to draw makes you a really good person to use. There has been multiple times i have been asked to draw something, just because the person knows me, knew me, sometimes even if i did not knew them.
The only times I have drawn requests from people i know, were the times when i felt that the person respects that it is still a job i have to do. It is not something: oh, can you? Will you? For you its easy?
There has been all of that, but thankfully not much. I am thankful that the majority of people knew always approached me with respect and i never really had problems with that. At the beginning maybe, but then later art really took me in and i made it professional, so that no one could make a joke or think it is just something i do for fun. It is something that asks for skill, patience and discipline.
This portrait in process is one of those requests. My co-worker from work, wanted me to draw this nephew. + he wanted his most popular cartoon character do be drawn in the portrait too. So i did make it that way. Maybe some of you who have been informed about cartoons will now. It is a polar bear-Bernard. I have seen some series my own too. It is a funny one, he is funny character.
One serious thing i wanted to conclude in my post is that whatever you do, never let other s to use you and even if you know them. If you are doing something, working and it is what you do, then it is. And it is no shame of asking something in return from people who know you and you know them. If you invest your time, you do. You can be a little bit softer etc, but never do anything for free, if it actually will rob you then afterwards.
