My 9-year old little sister made this realistic Dunkin Donut Munchkins made of tissue papers.
Letting her doing this DIY munchkins made me so proud. With her young age, she's being more creative with the help of our artistic mother. Our mom is Preschool teacher and she used to make realistic foods made of tissue paper in order to show her student's that we can turn everything into art and also, to explore or let out their hidden talent in terms of art.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
These easy to find materials:
- tissue paper
- dissolved Zoy in water or glue
- watercolor
- paper cups
This is safe for the young minds as scissors is not needed.
HOW TO DO IT?
For the first step, lets roll the ripped tissues and mold into round in our palm.
Next, put Zoy or glue around it so the round and crumpled tissue won't lose its shape.
Then, stick the tissue balls in to paper cups or color it first before to put on paper cups.
Afterwards, let them dry.
Lastly, firm the paper cups on its side and done.
For additional realistic look, you can add sprinkles on top with cut colorful papers to add a brighter look.
Try and experience this 5-minute DIY Munchkins and have fun with your kids (refering to parents) as this is just so quick and easy handicraft to do.
