I am very happy to see that there is another photo competition here on Steemit. Thank you for the initialization by @artzone.
My contribution to this contest is this image of an old lighthouse. This is near the castle Moritzburg in Saxony.
The lighthouse in Moritzburg is an inland lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in the late 18th century as part of a backdrop for trailing naval battles. It is the only lighthouse in Germany, which was built for this purpose and at the same time one of the oldest internal light towers.

Mein Beitrag zu diesem Wettbewerb, ist dieses Bild eines alten Leuchtturmes. Dieser steht in der Nähe des Schlosses Moritzburg in Sachsen.
Der Leuchtturm in Moritzburg ist ein Binnenleuchtturm. Der Leuchtturm ist im späten 18. Jahrhundert als Teil einer Kulisse für nachgestellte Seeschlachten entstanden. Er ist der einzige Leuchtturm in Deutschland, der für diesen Zweck gebaute wurde und gleichzeitig einer der ältesten Binnenleuchttürme.
