Perhaps some of you are already aware of this #AskforAngela concept (though I believe it came from the UK but is now reaching other parts of the world), however I feel it's most definitely worth sharing with you all, wherever you are as safety is important.

I first heard of this through Facebook, someone had shared it and has proved to be quite successful. If you are walking home late for whatever reason, out in a bar meeting a potential partner/on a date and it doesn't go particulary well or you just feel uncomfortable then Ask for Angela is there to help, we just need to spread the word...

Ask for Angela is a phrase used when you feel out of your comfort zone/not safe. Some bar tenders/dj's are aware of this protocol and will know you are in need of help, just ask for Angela! e.g. 'Is Angela working tonight?' 'May I speak with Angela?'
