Kalyazin radio astronomy Observatory. It was put into operation in 1992. It is located near the town of Kalyazin, Tver region, 200 km North of Moscow.
The main tool is the radio telescope TNA-1500, created by OKB MEI.
Radio telescope TNA-1500 or RT-64: D = 64 m, F / 0.37, full-turn parabolic reflector, the minimum operating wavelength = 1 cm, total weight = 3800t, mirror weight = 800t, secondary mirror D = 6 m.
Observed part of the celestial sphere: a = ± 300° H = 0° - 90°;
