Australian Storybook Episode 10

I lived for 6 years in Australia, and it was an amazing time, a time to behold, a time to forever remember.

I have quite a bit of photos from this period, so I am making these series where I am going to post snippets of that adventure.

I attended many concerts in Australia, it is one of my favorite things to do. I saw most of the artists I ever wanted to see, it was awesome...

This was Nuno Bettencourt with his solo band Mourning Widows performing at The Basement in Circular Quay, quite a legendary venue in Sydney.

As I have stated in previous posts Circular Quay is where the Opera House is on one side and the Museum Of Contemporary Art on the other side, then The Rocks, which is full of pubs, which is next to the Sydney Bridge and if you go under the bridge and come on the other side, you are almost at the Sydney Observatory, and there you are in Walsh Bay which also has a number of pubs, and where you can also find the Sydney Theater company and Walsh Bay Wharf...

Really this setting is one of a kind...

Now back to Nuno.

His show was off the charts and he totally dominated it on both guitar and vocals. I shot a bazillion pictures of this show.

There was this naughty dude in a corner who kept shouting at Nuno to play a particular song off Pornograffitti.

Nuno was not impressed to say the least, and never gave in.

The band as well was super tight.
