A low tire pressure warning had appeared on our vehicle's display yesterday as we pulled into our friend's wood shop in Naracoorte. It's directly across from the Naracoorte Caves, a World Hertigate Site known for it's extensive fossils and cave network. Highly recommended if you're ever in the area.
Anyhow, he brought out a pressure gauge and air pump. Sure enough, one tire was at half of the recommended pressure. We couldn't find the issue source, so he added air to get us to our friend's place down the road safely.
Once there, I disclosed the dilemma to them, and that I should care for this instead of playing golf the next day as planned. They offered one better. He offered that I drop the vehicle at his cabinet shop and go play golf with his wife as planned, and that he would get it to a repair shop. Perfect!
We headed out the next morning, but not before I got a picture of thier wine cave. The limestone coast region is awash in caves, so it's no surprise to have one on property. In this case, they've finished it off for a wine cellar. Brilliant!
This is our host, Di, with whom I played golf that day. As you can see, her name appears frequently on the club champion list. Di is graciously competitive, and we always have a spirited time on the course. Today it was with a long time friend of hers, Jill. We had perfect weather again as we covered the track in under four hours. That's not to say we played well, we just keep a move on. After all, there's gin to be had.
