After sending a friend in Hong Kong images of her location via WhatsApp, the 39-year-old tourist from Taiwan was rescued from Austria's Dachstein mountain.

Her friend forwarded the images to police in Austria, who alerted a rescue team who were able to find the lost tourist.
"The woman was so overjoyed to see me that she immediately hugged me," Alex Seebacher from the Planai cable car rescue team said.
After realising she was hopelessly lost, the woman had managed to make contact with the team earlier from a telephone box on the mountain, but was not able to describe where she was in any detail.
It was only after her helpful friend forwarded the photos that they could pinpoint her exact location and reach her with Ski-Doos.
