Homeschooling my son steadily is giving me a chance not to focus on his schooling but also for discipline, guidance, instruction, learning/training of life's skill from around the house to being out in public.

Although he still need some supports in writing but at least he can gracely move his cute tiny hands and creating WORDS. I would like to share this, maybe someone is still finding a way how to make her/his love autistic one to write as I was before.
Summer break I use to focus on writing and counting. When we first started, he was only write his name and now after 3 weeks he writes at least 15 letters.
Tracing is the best and effective way to start with, but it didn't work for my son to bring that skill to achieve his writing to the next level. For many years, he was stuck only in tracing.
Hand Over Hand.
Hand over hand is the traditional way that everyone may still use as I did, to me is way more effective with an extra love and reassurance.
Target one letter at the time, starting with hand over hand until your love one is comfortable enough to do it independently.
Practice And Exercising.
I use a Boogie Board for my son's hand flexibility and memorizing where his hand should move to print the letters. You guy can buy online, Barnes & Noble or any other book store.
Hand Over Fist.
I would name it hand over fist because my son still not comfortable enough to write independently. I still put my finger over my son's fist to encourage him and to stop him from writing it wrong.
Start writing on regular paper.
Since my son needs extra encouragement, I created a format below for each every letter for visual hints so he will get going without any confusion.
Animated by successfully achievement is another level of my happiness, I can't hold my tears of joy rolling down in my face seeing my son writing. Everything is possible everyone, keep doing please!
Way to go silly goose!
