Autumn Rose

I spotted this rose on my daily walk the other day. I wasn't in my neighbourhood - I had driven to a different part of London to pick up some supplies before they closed for the lockdown. I had to wait for an hour an a half for them to be ready, so I decided to leave my care there and go for a walk.
It made me think of the irony of the lockdowns, caused partially by the "Eat Out To Help Out" initiative by the government in an attempt to kickstart the economy following the first lockdowns.
The British economy right now can be likened to a man with diabetes and hypertension at the same time. Some of the medication that helps one, harms the other, so a balance needs to be sought.
Life is ironic right now, like a rose in autumn.
Peace & Love,
AdeΜ
