Draw me an Avatar Contest by @kennik - My Entry

So I found this interesting avatar contest hosted by Hive account@kennik, and decided to join in. It was tough but I came up with this and I think it's great. Check my entry post with the process/steps in bringing the picture to its cartoon form with a video of my drawing below.

So, let's go.

Firstly, a piece of art can be done in any method or way depending on the artist with the pencil or art equipment.

Step 1

I started with the body, that is the neck line and the shoulders. I drew a faint line of both sides.

Step 2

I drew the face, staring from the jaw since the work was started with the body and all in thin lines.

Step 3

I drew the hair and then I had to shade it. To do that, I started with the thin line, then the thick lines.

Step 4

I drew the eyes, nose and mouth with the thin lines in order to get the exact picture. Then I put in the facial lines (where necessary)

Step 5

I had to thicken all lines now to get a clear picture and after then, I used the coloured pencil to paint and add beauty to the work.
