So I'd lived in fear of spoilers and moved extremely carefully around the Internet in order to avoid any sort of information on the Avengers End Game. I didn't even see the trailers - that's how much I didn't want it spoilt.
You can imagine the frustration of not being able to see the movie since it came out. I actually have had access to cinemas in the past two weeks, but naturally they were all showing it in Polish. There was one option with English subtitles. Nah.
Several people in my party had gone to see it, since they also speak Polish, so I've had to threaten people with physical harm if they even as much as said a world haha.
Anyhow, we finally discovered a cinema showing it in English with Czech subs. "That'd do"!. We had to travel a wee bit to get there - train, bus and a taxi.. but I thought it'd be worth it.
I'm not going to say anything about the movie itself, except for "WOW"
It's was pretty old school cinema. It reminded me of those you find in back in Kent, England, with the sofa-like seats. I was grateful for the comfy seats as the movie itself was about 3 hours long with no breaks.
We caught the 7pm show which was preceded by ONLY 2 adverts/trailers, and boom! straight into the movie! I was like "OMG, it's started already?!". So the 7pm show got going at 7:05 pm! Amazing!
Getting home was more direct, even if not as simple and a little expensive. We decided to just take a cab all the way. We would have already missed the last bus to the countryside anyway. Hopefully we made this cab driver's day with the end of day payout :)
Today is a public holiday here, so everyone is in chill mode. The sun is out too, after a few days of rain, snow and cold. The temperature is predicted to reach 15 degrees C, so it's going to be BBQ time and open flames.
Peace and Love ✌🏿
