From a wannabe filmmaker, screenplay writer these are the best movies of 2017. For the past couple years, it was almost a tradition for me and my friends to picking best movies of the previous years and publish them as my curated selections. I used to do this right around Oscar Ceremony and this year is obviously not an exception. And this time, I get to get paid for it! Well, not really. I'm still a minnow :)
For those haven't read my introduction post here on steemit ( I mean all of you), I went to one of the biggest cinema schools here in my country but crucial changes happened in my life and I haven't yet to become a professional screenplay writer that I desire. I'm working on it though. But everyone around me acknowledges my exceptional perspective of analyzing and interpreting movies. Too much bragging? Probably. Sorry :) (not really)
I've tried to watch movies any time as I can but I couldn't be able to do it like previous years. But still, I believe I've watched one of the best ones in 2017.
Anyway, let me explain my categories here. Since I'm not a US citizen, I won't be creating two separate best movies categories. I'll consider both English movies and foreign language movies in same categories. Basically, all categories will be worldwide. Such as "Best directing, cinematography, acting, support role, screenplay, and soundtrack etc.". I'll write 3 or 5 of my nominees first in those categories and then the winners.
PS. I'm not dividing male and female actings into separate categories by the way.
