Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest Episode No.1:Old Florida Family Homestead

My entry for the first ASW is this photograph of an abandoned old Florida family homestead 5 miles south of me off a dirt road not far from Orange Lake. It’s location is just off an asphalt road that used to be a railway line many years ago.

The family that lived there were native Floridians. Not sure what happened, but it’s just been sitting there for several years-empty and alone.

I just love the house and surrounding property. The oaks throw off nice shadows in B/W.
