Steem ecosystem has plenty of incentives. From the reward pool which is shared the way upvotes and downvotes decide to, to witness rewards, the new proposal funding, paid gigs, even interest on your Steem Power stake, prizes in contests or in games, we have it all.
We even have mini-ecosystems with their own tokens and reward pools and stakeholders - the so-called SCOTs - and their communities known as tribes. We will soon have SMTs and communities on the main blockchain.
So, incentives to earn are everywhere you look!
We still have an issue onboarding large number of people at once. And that will be fixed at some point.
Meanwhile, I wanted to try something out.
On ClickTrackProfit, the website of 
Prior to a Badge Hunt, people are invited to buy badges, which they own (not in the blockchain sense) during the event.
During the Badge Hunt, members of CTP hunt and claim as many of the badges as they can. If rules haven't changed after the relaunch of the site, the person who successfully claims the most badges wins the Badge Hunt, which usually means an important prize.
Owners of the badges can associate any task they want with their badges (even unreasonable ones). The harder the task, the fewer people will complete it.
I purchased such badges in the past Badge Hunts, and they had good results.
So, when I saw another Badge Hunt coming a few weeks ago, I purchased two badges and I thought it would be a good opportunity to link them to Steem.
I am curious about the results now, when both my badges require a Steem account to claim.
