Bahbahra stories - cooking for friends

Continuing on with the adventures of Bahbahra

And maybe a bit of a stretch but since a good percentage of the photos for this story were taken in a Supermarket this post is also my submission for Market Friday hosted by Hive account@dswigle

Bahbahra decided since she has made some good friends, and wanted to invite her friends for dinner, she thought it would be an easy thing to do to shop for the ingredients and prepare a meal for her friends, well we all know with Bahbahra nothing is ever as easy as it seems

So off to the supermarket they went, to get all the items needed for the meal.

First she thought a salad would be a good healthy side to the meal, so she found some nice fresh organic lettuce.

And of course a salad with just lettuce would be pretty bland. so she got some fruit and vegetables to go with it.

Again she went with organic, as a healthy sheep she likes food that is grown naturally without any additives, which sadly is included in some many fruits and vegetables these days.

Now the time came to choose the main item for the meal and this ended up being trickier than Bahbahra expected.

Now Bahbahra has a preference for Pork Chops, but when she thought about it, since Porky the pig was going to be one of the guests perhaps she should choose something else.

Bahbahra was quite shocked when she noticed someone had put some Lamb Chops into her shopping cart, she did wonder if it was Porky the pig, poking fun at her being a bit inconsiderate thinking of Pork Chops!

She quickly removed it from the cart and started looking for something else more suitable to her and all her friends tastes.

Then Bahbahra , found these Chicken Breasts

It was a nice big packet with about 6 pieces, more than enough for Bahbahra and her friends.

She was relieved that Clara the chicken wasn't able to join them or else she would have had to look for something else for dinner

All her friends came back home and chatted with Bahbahra as she prepared the meal.

They knew Bahbahra's Dad was into fancy gadgets but they didn't see how putting the chicken Breasts into this fancy looking machine could make them into fried chicken without any oil

Well Bahbahra and her friends were quite surprised when the machine went BEEP and they got out these nice and crispy crumbed chicken breasts which were very tasty and went so well with the fresh salad.

They had a lovely meal and chat together
