The government has changed the British English spellings of five districts to make them sound similar to the Bengali alphabet.
The new of five districts spellings are Chittagong to (Chattogram), Barisal to (Barishal), Comilla to (Cumilla),Jessore to (Jashore) and Bogra to (Bogura).
