Osman Hadi
Today marks almost a month since the bullets in Paltan took away one of the brightest flames of our generation — Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho, writer, teacher, July uprising coordinator, and fearless voice against fascism.
He was only 32.
Born in Nalchity, Jhalokathi, raised with the spirit of justice in his blood (son of Maulana Abdul Hadi), he walked into Dhaka University with dreams like many of us… but the streets of 2024 July Revolution shaped him into something much bigger.
Osman Hadi didn't just protest — he articulated the pain of millions.
He spoke against decades of repression, against the attempt to bring back the old regime's legitimacy, against foreign influence that tries to control our destiny. He demanded:
- Constitutional ban on the fascist forces
- Justice for July martyrs
- A truly national government of the people, by the people
And when they tried to silence him on December 12, 2025 with bullets in broad daylight, he fought for 6 more days in Singapore General Hospital. But on the 18th, our brother became a Shaheed.
His death didn't end the movement — it ignited something deeper.
Yet today — 24+ days later — we still wait for real justice. Chargesheets name small players, but the big hands remain hidden. Some say political vengeance, some point to deeper syndicates, some even accuse the current machinery. Whatever the truth is — we demand answers, not excuses.
Osman Hadi taught us something very important in this digital age:
সহজতাই আভিজাত্য (Simplicity is the real nobility)
He lived it. No luxury, no compromise, just pure conviction.
On Hive we believe in decentralization, in owning our voice, in resisting centralized power that controls narratives. Osman Hadi lived that philosophy in the streets of Dhaka.
This post is not just a tribute — it's a reminder: The revolution is not finished. The trial of his murder must happen. The dream of a just Bangladesh must continue.

আমরা থামব না। আমরা ভুলব না।
Rest in power, Osman Bhai. Your words are still echoing in every corner of Bangladesh… and now on Hive too.
With respect & unbreakable resolve, A fellow Bangladeshi on Hive
