are the highest policy-makers in the bank. In time, they are elected directors and assistant directors. Among them, 8 people from the Asian-Pacific region and 4 from the outside world are included.

The bank has three funding.

Asian Development Fund;
Special funds for different purposes;
Technical Support Fund.

The President of the Bank was elected by the Board of Governors. He runs the bank as president of the board of directors. The president is appointed for a period of 5 years. If needed, he can be re-elected. Generally, Japanis are the president of the largest proportion of ownership. The current president is Tacliko Nakao. He was replaced by Harhuiko in 2013.
