Bantu people are one of the world most populous and largest group. They are an African group with people scattered all over the continent.
Originally birthed from Cameroon, the Bantu group now has it's people situated in other African countries like South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana and more.
4000 or 5000 years ago, the introduction of farming marked the turning point for most Bantu people as they all give their all to master their new skills. The skill made Bantu people who are formerly hunters left their homeland to go cultivate lands and grow crops in various locations they were left to settle.
Bantu groups are so populated, they boost of over 350 million people, the Shona people, Zulu people, Luba people, Sukuma people, Kikuyu people are all part of the Bantu Group.
The Bantu expansion first introduced Bantu peoples to Central, Southern, and Southeast Africa, regions they had previously been absent from. The proto-Bantu migrants in the process assimilated and/or displaced a number of earlier inhabitants that they came across, including Pygmy and Khoisan populations in the center and south, respectively. They also encountered some Afro-Asiatic outlier groups in the southeast, who had migrated down from Northeast Africa.
They are also believed to have form little African groups across various European and Asian countries they're settling in.
