The culture in Washington is one where coverup and lying are rewarded.
It is one that does not foster and reward whistleblowers. Many people in government would most likely come forward if their lives were not ruined by it. Their families are harassed, careers ended, and health suffers.
Attorney General Barr has the ability to change that. He could put forth a new amnesty program for whistleblowers. This would help open up the path for people with real information to come forward without threat of harassment or backlash.
