This morning's NeverGetBusted email: "I am a Vice reporter for The Daily Caller News Foundation, and was writing a story about how you were able to get a man off of a charge concerning 36 lbs. of pot. Was hoping I could speak to you quick and ask a couple questions about the case, and your background."
This is the marijuana dismissal story I posted:
I always start my day by checking emails for citizen's who just got busted and want to hire me as their expert witness. Since I am interview shy, I attempted to delay the call by replying,
"Sure. Is tomorrow too late?"
The Vice reporter explained,
"Tomorrow would be too late, but if you're free in the hour that can def. work. Interesting life you've lead, good sir!"
Upon asking where and when the story would publish, he messaged,
"It will be on The Daily Caller, of which I work for the non-profit arm- The Daily Caller News Foundation. It will be up today, probably within the hour after I send it to my editors. I am a Vice writer who focuses heavily on marijuana stories. I am very pro-legalization, as the drug war is useless and makes criminals out of folks who simply are not. I just wanted to get a little more background on the story, as well as maybe ask you a couple questions- unrelated to the story, because from what I read on your website, you are an extremely interesting person. I especially like to hear stories of former law enforcement who now fight against the War on Drugs."
I agreed to do the interview because I think it's a good move in terms of ending the insane Drug War. I also think the story will be a nice plug for Steemit. I'll post a link to the story when it publishes.
Peace, Love and NeverGetBusted
