I decided to visit my son's baseball practice yestersay morning to see how he was doing. When I arrived, I saw him running and did a perfect slide on the second base.
He was doing well. On his 3rd run, he landed another slider on the second base but when he tried to stand up, he did feel pain on his left foot. I saw him having a hard time walking as he approached the bench.
His coach attended to him and my husband went to see if he's okay. Unfortunately, he slide so hard that he stretched his upper thigh on the left, resulting to sprain and pain.
Cold spray was the first thing they did to give relieve to the pain. Fortunately it was just a minor sprain.
He' coach decided to let my son rest for the remaining hour of his teams practice.
Despite of the pain my son is still determine to play baseball.
Infact instead of taking some rest, he went for a walk and bought a new baseball glove.
And his own cold spray for emergency use.
I am thankful that it's just a minor injury. He is still excited to go for a baseball practice since his position will be determine next month.
This Filipino boy will never give up!
