If you are on Steemit, the odds that you are unaware that you were lied to are slim. Most on here know that the mainstream media does not tell the truth. We see the link between the banksters, corporations, the educational system, religions and government. It is all one big happy family meant to play their part in enslaving humanity.
What many are not aware of is how our belief system is established by others through conditioning in such a way as to make us good little slaves. We see this in many of the sayings people tout as being virtuous.
Have you ever questioned your beliefs?
To go one step further, did you ever ask yourself how is my belief about work ethic enslaving me?
Many believe in the "Protestant work ethic" which basically says pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. We are taught to get up in the morning, put in a hard day at work, that is what makes a man a man.
On the surface it seems reasonable but with the banksters, nothing is as it appears.
Joe Biden is certainly one who spent his career doing the bidding for the banksters. Like all government cronies, he was there to further the bankster agenda. He did this for decades.
Look at this statement made by him yesterday....
"Every time someone would lose a job, my dad would say, ‘You know, Joey, a job is about a lot more than a paycheck. It’s about dignity, it’s about respect.' It’s about your place in the community. It’s about being able to look your kid in the eye and saying, ‘Honey, it’s going to be OK.’ That’s what it’s about. Dignity," Biden said. "Getting an annual wage, you sit home and do nothing. You strip people of their dignity."
What do you garner when you read this? Do you see slavery?
Let us analyze it. To start, when people get an annual wage, they do NOT sit home and do nothing. That idea has been negated in every study done over the past 30 years. In fact, you only need to look at those who live off investment income...do they do nothing all day? Most do not. Having this mindset is akin to believing blacks should ride in the back of the bus. It is an outdated idea that is full of hate and degradation.
It is a very elitist view to look at poor people as stupid and lazy. This is also a bullshit idea. Not all unemployed people are lazy and stupid just like not all employed people are smart and motivated (Just ask about those he works with😁 ). In addition, there are many people in the world who have absolutely no choice in the manner. There is a thing called generational poverty. In many areas, people are screwed simply because of where they are born. If you disagree with this, look at some of the comments posted by
about the conditions in Cuba. Do you really believe the Cubans are in the situation they are because they are laze and stupid?
Getting back to Biden's comment, we see another piece of absolute insanity. He says "it is about dignity." Having a job provides dignity? I know this is a common mindset as evidenced by the way we treat the unemployed. It is another view that is complete trash.
I guess Joe is basically saying that without a job, one cannot have dignity, that one is not worthy of respect. Is this something you agree with?
We need to break this correlation that we are our jobs and that is where we derive worth from. Are you starting to see what they are doing to us? Show up for work each day because it is noble. You should feel a great deal of dignity working that dead end job for minimal wages which enriching the establishment. If someone says anything counter to this ideal, call them lazy and stupid. Make then feel like crap because they are not worthy of dignity since they do not have a job that feeds the system.
"Come on dude, get off your ass and go work the fry line somewhere...then you can feel good about yourself."
Or even better, "go to college, amass a great deal of debt that you cannot get out of, then go work a dead end job for low wages since you cannot find anything in your field." Then you can have dignity AND massive debt.
It is crucial that we stop associating our self-worth (or dignity as Biden calls it) with our jobs. There is nothing noble in working oneself to the bone for fake fiat to buy stuff meant to impress a bunch of people who we probably don't like just to feel better about ourselves. By the way, do you see who benefits from that insane behavior? The banksters who own the corporations.
Simply put, all have worth simply because they are breathing. That is it.
So where does basic income enter into the picture and why do the banksters hate it?
The answer to this is in the word "no". A basic income enables people to say no to what I just wrote. Under their system, people have to take that dead end, life sucking job because bills are due next month. One is not free to pursue whatever his or her passion is (so much for the sitting around with no dignity Joe, people actually do things they like to do). The establishment does not want people pursuing creative endeavors, at least not ones they do not profit from. This is why artists, writers, and musicians are traditionally ostracized. Unless one can make money for the establishment, it is time to get back in line. "Stop creating that stuff nobody wants and get a job."
A basic income also upsets the entire bankster apple card. If people have money to cover their basic needs AND the ability to say no to those crap jobs, then those companies would have to pay more to fill those positions. That is a problem because it would affect the bottom line which Wall Street does not like. Besides, paying people more money means less control over them. Therefore, it is something they are going to fight at every turn.
Everyday hundreds of millions of people around the world show up to jobs they hate while being conned into thinking what they are doing is "dignified". Sure, there are some people who absolutely love what they do and are excited to get up each morning. To those people, I say you are in the extreme minority. Studies indicate that anywhere from 75%-90% of the American workforce dislikes their jobs.
Of course, they all are making a lot of money for the banksters which is the goal.
It is crucial that we look at the psychological tactics that are used on us. If you step back, you will realize there is institutional programming taking place. Most every entity we interact with is in on it. It is a web used to ensure we remain in the reality they created for us.
Somewhere along the line we acquired the idea that it was a good thing to work long hours in lieu of spending time with our families. We believe that working ourselves to death (literally) was noble simply to be a part of the perpetual growth machine. Earning more money so that we can drive a nicer car is a good thing although it sits unused 22 hours a day the same as an old Datsun.
Giving up your time, healthy, money, and family is a sacrifice but, hey, at least you have some dignity.
That is until they let you go in the next round of company layoffs.
Then you get to go through the dignified process, at least in the U.S, of filing for unemployment.
Thanks Joe.
