Kobe and Shaq Win Their First Title 6/19/2000

On this day in the year 2000 Kobe and Shaq begin their three-peat. Defeating the Indiana Pacers in 6 games.

I was very young when Shaq and Kobe were running around wreaking havoc on the league. But I was old enough to remember and understand they were unstoppable. This Lakers squad is probably the first team I witnessed truly dominate their sport. They won three straight titles people, don't forget. They were truly great.

Here is a video I found on Youtube of some of the best plays of Game 6, the final game, reminisce and enjoy their greatness. I wish they were teammates longer. I believe they could have won more together. But at least they were champions again separately.
