I'm not sure I understand what it means by "as long as that value is above dust levels".. I don't 100% understand the STEEM ecosystem, votes and rewards are foreign to me, sorry I am so dumb.
I have some feedback though! My friend started playing Splinterlands with a Free promo code starter pack - those 30 cards are ghost cards, without unique identifying numbers, it's like they are 'loaning' starter from Splinterlands - they can't transfer, sell or combine these cards.. Once they get a duplicate in a booster pack or other means, that card replaces the ghost. If they sell that duplicate, the ghost card returns. (so technically, if they only have 1 copy of a starter card, it will be the ghost.. If they get a 2nd copy, they still will only have 1 copy because the real card will overwrite the ghost) I hope you understand my explanation...
Anyways, when he went to put his name in at steemmonsters.club, it told him he needed 1 summoner and 1 monster card to play.. which he technically has..however if you search his name in Splinterlands, only the cards he actually owns show up (for example, only the 5 cards he opened from the booster I sent him will show up - however I know for a fact he used and has the starter pack from the code I sent him)
I wonder if there is some way to code the site to bypass this? Or have it so if that error comes up, the user themselves can bypass if they know they have a starter?
(This was a newly implemented rule to avoid abuse of free starter promo codes)
