I'll be the first to admit; I'm no expert on net neutrality. But, as a small time influencer (less than 1k on all my social medias) and as a 25 year old who grew up on a relatively untampered internet.
I felt that the responsibility was on me and others like me with twitter, meme fan pages, youtube channels, especially those getting phat #'s and user retention, to at the very least demonstrate how simple it is to help.
If there is anyone out there that wants to skim over it real quick & let me know if I got the facts straight and covered what I needed too?
I kind of screwed up the phone call, but as I already called on my main mobile, I didn't want to congest the lines or hurt the legitimacy of the campaign with a google voice #.
I've been a part of the fight for a while now but I have to admit that I haven't kept up with it until Reddit surprised me with the blackout. I called my state reps and shared back when J. Oliver had his explainer video.
*decentralized tube: A new decentralized video host for original content that is mostly uncensored and on the steemit.com blockchain.
I use steemit.com for my blog and D.Tube for my videos alongside youtube and have made way more of an online impression, about 6x the amount of subscribers, via my steemit blog (+ they actually pay me and don't randomly strike my videos without a shred of reason why).
For any content creators/influencers out there I highly recommend you check Steemit.com [blogging] D.Tube.com [video] & D.Sound.com [Audio/Music/Pods] out as a medium, & encourage yall to post some Battleforthenet content to an audience other than reddit... it seems like reddit has cast a pretty wide net on the coverage of our battle lol.
