LONDON (Reuters) - Bayern Munich striker Franck Ribery has revealed he has changed his shirt with the rule of the Bavarian side against VfB Stuttgart in the last round of the Bundesliga lost 4-1.
Ribery exchanged his shirt with referee Christian Fischer after the end of the match at the Allianz Arena stadium.
"It was the last match for the referee and he wanted to swap the shirt with me, and I loved doing that," Ribery said in comments broadcast on Sport 1.
"This behavior shows the respect we have for the rulers," said the 35-year-old. "It's good."
In the same vein, Fischer expressed his happiness with this action by Ribery.
