Did you know the financial world has fundamentally changed since August 1st, 2017?
On August 1st, Bitcoin (BTC) the first invented blockchain cryptocurrency split into a new fork called Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and as of August 23rd iMedDo is ready to accept it for use in buying health supplements!
Because Bitcoin Cash has significantly faster transaction time, significantly lower transaction fees and has already proven it can compete effectively with BTC for mining power, iMedDo has decided to offer full support for BCH as we believe it is the future.
A week before August 1st we announced we are supporting all cryptocurrencies supported by Coinpayments.net which already supports Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and many others, but now three weeks after August 1st, Coinpayments.net has not yet added Bitcoin Cash (BCH), BUT as of August 23rd, 2017 iMedDo is now able to accept BCH payments directly to our BCH crypto address!
Here is a quick refresher on how to order the iMedDo Ultimate Detox System 6 month supply for $150 USD or crypto equivalent price:
How to pay for your health supplements using a cryptocurrency other than BCH:
Step 1. Go to iMedDo.com homepage
Step 2. Click on the Coinpayments.net button near the middle right of the homepage. It looks like a shopping cart and says "multiple cryptocurrencies available"
Step 3. Use Coinpayments to specify which cryptocurrency you want to pay with and to enter you shipping address.
How to pay for your health supplements using Bitcoin Cash (BCH):
Step 1. Go to iMedDo.com homepage and find our BCH crypto address 18XstiSVL1kvi5i5rBFx88ybDHh31AyL7L
Step 2. Send email to healthwarrior@imeddo.com to notify Dr. Ben you are making a BCH purchase and be sure to include your shipping address.
Step 3. Send $150 equivalent in BCH to our crypto address 18XstiSVL1kvi5i5rBFx88ybDHh31AyL7L
Note: Be sure to copy and paste the address directly from imeddo.com, or if you hand type it be sure to triple check it as one particular thing about crypto is if you send it to the wrong address you cannot recover the funds.
Note: To find the correct amount to send you can go to Coinmarketcap.com to get the current price of BCH to USD. If the price of BCH is $600 for example then you would need to send 0.25 BCH. Price as of writing this is $670/BCH, so for example would be $150/$670 = 0.223880597 BCH. Please round up to 6 decimals, so in this case you would send 0.223881 BCH.
We will verify the funds arrived and will send you another email with the tracking number when your products ship.
How to Donate to iMedDo using Bitcoin Cash (BCH):
Same as above but you can send any amount of BCH but please still email us to let us know that it was a donation and not that you were trying to make a purchase.
How to get BCH?
This is a little beyond the scope of this article but we encourage you to start learning about cryptocurrencies as it is very likely the new way to do business in the future. You can buy it from a cryptocurrency exchange such as Kraken or Cryptopia but will need to get verified with the exchange before you can convert USD to crypto. Plan ahead as it may take a week or two for verification to go through. You many be able to obtain crypto directly from people who have BCH to sell.
If you are new to cryptocurrency you will need to do a bit of learning but basically you need to learn about the following things:
What is a cryptocurrency wallet.
What is a cryptocurrency exchange and how is that different from a cold storage wallet.
How to Buy and Sell cryptocurrency on an exchange.
How to send what you buy on an exchange to your own personal wallet on your cell phone, computer or cold storage device.
How to send send cryptocurrency from your wallet to an address.
Once you know how to do this (try google and you tube videos to get learning) this will be obvious how to send to a crypto address.
Some tips from Dr. Ben about Cryptocurrency
Tip 1: Time Expectations: You will find it may take 1-4 weeks of self-teaching to get proficient with using cryptocurrency so start learning as soon as you can or make it a long term goal to start learning. You need to learn to use a digital wallet to hold it and to be able to send and receive crypto with ease. It's not hard but rather unfamiliar at first and it like all things technical kinda confusing at first. Even though you might think using crypto should be instant, starting out it may take weeks to get verified with certain exchanges, it might take a week to move a limited amount of money from your bank onto an exchange, and some coins like Bitcoin (BTC) which you might think would be instant can take hours or even days to confirm transactions! Be patient when learning it can be frustrating at times.
Tip 2: Speed is King: Ultimately any coin which is too slow (or has too high of transaction fee) is less useful for actually buying and selling goods. Because I'm selling actual health supplements and not just using crypto for speculation like most people, I have found that the original Bitcoin (BTC) is not at all suited for business as it is too slow. I do not recommend you use it, however you will likely have to initially get it as it is the gateway and in many cases the only go between to other forms of crypto. However if you can you want to always get and use the ones that are fast and have low transaction fees. There or a lot of different cryptocurrencies out there and more being developed all the time, but the ones that I have found so far, and tested and confirmed are best suitable for business are 1. Bitcoin Cash 2. Litecoin 3. Ethereum I have read that DASH and ZCASH are also fast and thus potentially useful for business but have not tested them yet.
Tip 3: Exchanges High Risk: When you become proficient with crypto you will find that if you don't hold the coins on your own wallet where you "hold the private keys" but instead leave your coins on an exchange in their wallet for you, that your coins are potentially at risk as the exchange could at any time go down or get hacked or even be shut down or just refuse to move your money fast enough. Eventually when you get serious you will get a cold storage wallet and use exchanges for exchanging and your own wallet for storing. Once you get used to holding and controlling your own money with crypto is kind a new world and you realize you don't really want to store it any other way or at least that is what I have found.
iMedDo is so excited to be on the forefront of accepting cryptocurrencies for actually being able to buy an item of real world value and utility, so please spread the word of health and wealth!
