However, due to weather and surroundings, it is not possible to call a specific date for satellite launch. Earlier, satellite launch dates were followed in a few phases. It is reported that the satellite will be launched from April 1 to April 15 in the second week of April, but later it was back in May 4.
But the next day may be in hostile weather on May 5; On May 7, Bangabandhu satellite-1 will be launched, said Space X.
It is to be noted that the total cost of implementation of the Bangabandhu Satellite-1 project is Tk 2,990 crore. Of this, Tk 1,544 crore is being given from the government fund. And HSBC Bank is giving Taka 1,358 crore as loan to the rest.
There will be a total of 40 transponders of Bangabandhu satellite. Of these 20 transponders will be kept for use in Bangladesh. The remaining 20 transponders will be kept for sale to any foreign company.
These artificial satellites will provide 40 types of services including satellite television channels, Internet service providers, V-sat and radio. If the natural disaster is affected by the tertiary infrastructures Bangabandhu Satellite will ensure the continuous communication system throughout the country, e-services as the environment communication medium.
