Mindanao philippines.
I was scanning my old photos when I saw this photo and I remembered my vacation in mindanao.
Mindanao is located in the southern part of the philippines , it’s the second largest 🌴 island.
I want to share abit about mindanao since only a few tourist or even filipinos from cebu and manila visit mindanao because of its history of danger like abusayaf, kidnappings of foreigners. There were instances that the said event happen but not all the time, mindanao is a big island with many provinces and NOT ALL PROVINCES ARE DANGEROUS.
There are places like davao or the one province where my mom comes from “ san fransisco agusan del sur” which is a very safe place . I’ve been there more than 10x in my life and nothing bad happened .
You can find alot of beautiful white beaches , many waterfalls , many beautiful islands and the best part is its not as crowded as beaches like boracay. Since its not crowded the beaches are very clean, and definitely its a very instagrammable place .
